On the afternoon of December 22, 2023, the research on cultural and economic development of Li Shi District and the project solicitation and research meeting of "The First 'One Belt and One Road' International Cultural and Creative Products Trade Fair (2024 - Li Shi, China)" was held in the People's Government of Li Shi District. Zhang Haiwen, deputy secretary of Li Shi District Party Committee and head of the government, Li Dawei, director of International Affairs Working Committee on Cultural Publishing Cooperation of China Publication and Promotion Association, Qiao Zhengmin, former director of the Standing Committee of Li Shi District People's Congress, Li Ruigang, standing committee member of Li Shi District Party Committee, deputy head of the government, and secretary of the Party and Work Committee of Tianjiahui Street, and Yang Manhong, deputy head of Li Shi District Government, and other guests participated in the meeting.
Zhang Haiwen, on behalf of the Party committee and government of Li Shi District, firstly welcomed Li Dawei and his delegation to Li Shi. He introduced the long history of Lishi, financial revenue and the development of three major industries. He said, as the old revolutionary area, Lishi has a deep cultural heritage. Proposing to hold the "First 'Belt and Road' International Cultural and Creative Products Trade Fair (2024 - Lishi, China)" to create a new landmark of Lishi's cultural industry will surely lead to a new development of Lishi's cultural industry.
Director Li Dawei firstly thanked the Li Shi District Committee and Government for their reception and support for International Affairs Working Committee. He said that cultural strength and cultural creativity have an important role in promoting the development of the economy, branding, and promoting the comprehensive enhancement of all aspects of the local. Lishi has unique location, deep cultural heritage and rich tourism resources. The International Cultural and Creative Products Trade Fair will effectively promote exchanges and cooperation in the cultural and creative industries, and provide an international platform for the organizing place to display its cultural heritage, carry out international cooperation and promote economic development. If the International Cultural and Creative Products Trade Fair is held in Lishi District, International Affairs Working Committee on Cultural Publishing Cooperation of China Publication and Promotion Association will make use of international and domestic resources to cooperate, assist in the success of the 2024 International Cultural and Creative Products Trade Fair, and inject new elements and new vitality into the cultural and economic development of Lishi.
